Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. Who we are

This website and online store at www.myevbuilds.co.uk are operated by MYEVBUILDS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16393389. Registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Contact: shop@myevbuilds.co.uk or 07398 763713.

2. Using this website

You may use the site for lawful personal or business purchasing and product research. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, or copy protected content in a way not permitted by law.

3. Products and compatibility

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Images can vary slightly by screen, production revision or packaging. Check the title, variant, model, voltage, current rating, dimensions, connectors and other specifications before ordering.

Compatibility depends on the complete system and how it is installed. Advice is based on the information supplied to us and does not replace competent design, installation or safety checks. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

4. Prices, payment and orders

The price, applicable taxes, delivery charge and total payable are shown before an order is submitted. Obvious pricing or description errors may be corrected. Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not necessarily acceptance.

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if an item is unavailable, payment is not authorised, delivery is not possible, fraud checks fail, or there is an obvious error. Any captured payment for a cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Delivery

Available destinations, charges, handling time, transit estimates and delivery terms are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy and shown at checkout. We will deliver within the agreed time or, where no time is agreed, within the period required by applicable law.

6. Cancellation, returns and faults

UK consumers buying at a distance normally have a statutory cooling-off period, subject to exceptions. Faulty goods are covered by separate legal rights. The process, timeframes, return costs and refund information are in our Returns & Refunds Policy. A model cancellation form is also available. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

7. Installation, use and safety

EV components can involve high currents, stored energy, moving parts, heat and other hazards. Products must be selected, installed, configured, tested and used by a competent person in accordance with product instructions, applicable law and safe engineering practice. Do not exceed product ratings or bypass protective systems.

8. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by misuse, incorrect installation, incompatible system design, unauthorised modification, operation beyond stated ratings, or failure to follow instructions. Business customers should contact us before ordering if special contractual requirements apply.

9. Intellectual property and third-party brands

Site text, graphics and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names, product marks and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify compatible or branded goods; no endorsement or official affiliation is implied unless expressly stated and supported.

10. Privacy and external services

Our Privacy Policy, including its Cookies section, explains how personal data and cookies are handled. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; their own terms and privacy information apply when you use them.

11. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these Terms for future use of the store. The version applying to an accepted order is the version in force when that order was placed.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint.
